Inaugural Transform Awards India 2022 shortlist announced

TA Awards India 2022 Shortlist Announcement

Recognising best practice in corporate, product and global brand development work, the shortlist for the first ever Transform Awards India demonstrates strong contenders in each of the 21 categories.

Some of the most fiercely contended categories include ‘Best use of packaging’ (six contenders), ‘Best brand evolution’ (also six contenders), and ‘Best strategic or creative development of a new brand’ (five contenders).

Landor & Fitch, who have an office in Mumbai and Delhi, will surely be eyeing up the ‘Best use of visual property’ and ‘Best brand evolution’ awards. The agency will be competing with three and two projects in these categories, respectively. Also shortlisted in the latter of those categories is Saffron Brand Consultants, who will compete across four categories in all.

Ting, meanwhile, will be targeting success in the ‘Best visual identity from the lifestyle and wellness sector’, where they were shortlisted for two projects. Also competing with two projects in one category is Design Bridge, who will seek to beat Landor & Fitch to ‘Best brand evolution’.

The exciting awards ceremony is to be held virtually this year, however.

Publishing editor of Transform magazine and founder of the Transform Awards, Andrew Thomas explains, “In light of existing social, travel and distancing restrictions, this year we won’t be holding a Transform Awards India gala awards dinner for 2022. We feel strongly that your good work needs recognising, and, for this reason, the celebrations will still take place, but this year as a very special online awards event, on 26 April.”
