The panel and the judging process.
The Transform Awards ANZ is judged by a panel of in-house industry experts across a multitude of sectors. We purposely look for a panel that has experience of and knowledge in branding, marketing, corporate communications and advertising for a wide perspective.
The scoring is done on a points system and the judges score anonymously. The judging system we operate is one which is fair, and if a judge has entered into a specific category, they will be exempt from reviewing that area in which they are competing, to avoid a conflict of interest. We also provide detailed feedback on submitted work, after the awards evening, which often proves highly useful for future entries.
Winners are determined by the scores they receive and only entries that score high enough marks will be shortlisted and awarded with trophies.

Clare Bailey is a brand and change management consultant who has partnered with high profile, global clients to deliver creative and commercial transformation. Clare’s expertise spans the creative, broadcast/media, education, finance, government, luxury hospitality, not-for-profit, professional services, property, sports, and telecommunications sectors. With extensive executive management experience in top tier creative agencies, Clare has recently moved client-side as Head of Marketing for Taylor – one of Australia’s most innovative and dynamic construction companies.

Robin has 20 years of experience in marketing from both creative agency and client side roles in the UK and Australia. Robin's expertise is in brand strategy and creative delivery. Having delivered brand and creative projects for a range blue chip organisations across FMCG, Consumer Electronics, Automotive, Telecommunications and Banking, Robin joined Tyro in 2018 as Head of Brand and Communications to deliver the first re-brand since 2007 and to build the brand marketing and creative capability in-house. In this role Robin is responsible for brand strategy, delivering marketing campaigns, content and creative for the business across all channels.

Fiona has been in the marketing field for some 15 years - initially in London and for the last 5 years based in Auckland. Working for a cross section of industries from media and healthcare, to travel has kept things interesting. Fiona enjoys bringing brands to life, and ensuring the whole organisation is singing from the same hymn sheet. Currently as Group Brand Manager for Haka Tourism her role involves managing and co-ordinating the sales and marketing for Haka Tours and Haka Accommodations. Outside of work, Fiona enjoys making the most of the New Zealand outdoors.

Astrid is an enthusiastic, data-driven marketer with 10-years of experience across Consumer Insights, Brand Marketing, and Sales, both at a country level as well as globally, within the FMCG and Non-Profit sectors. Astrid is passionate about brand development, continually directing her career towards categories and brands she finds meaningful, from Beefeater Gin, to Nutella, and more recently with Australian Red Cross. Astrid believes in the power of brand salience and appreciates the role that digital plays in nudging consumers at key conversion moments and has enjoyed a long track record of leading Agile, Digital and Brand Transformations.
Scott Mullins is a change-making brand communications specialist with a passion for building accessible, inclusive and values-led brands. A father-of-two, Scott has more than 12 years experience in journalism and not-for-profit brand, communications, PR, marketing, content and storytelling. Currently Brand Manager at Australia's blood cancer charity, the Leukaemia Foundation, he also sits on several NFP boards advising on brand, marketing and communications.

Shelley is a brand and marketing leader with experience in professional services, education, membership and recreational industries. With 20+ years of experience in Marketing, Shelley specializes in and is most passionate about brand, whether it's revitalizing a brand, a complete rebrand or developing a successful brand positioning and strategy. Shelley has varied industry experience & expertise in brand measurement, brand architecture, visual and verbal identity, co-branding, developing brand governance systems and developing and delivering successful brand campaigns. With a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Marketing and Post Grad qualifications in Brand Management, Shelley is currently the Head of Brand for PwC Australia.

Tanya is a Brand and Marketing strategist who is passionate about driving business growth through strategies that focus on brand equity, targeted communications and a customer first approach. She has spent her career working with ASX listed companies on a range of rebranding and brand marketing projects and was recently part of the team that launched Sydney Airport’s new SYD brand.

Petra Ryberg started off in hospitality design with Wilson Associates in Dallas & New York 2011 she then transition to HBA in London 2012.
During these years Petra got an insight and chance to work on many prestigious projects. It was with Tillberg Design of Sweden where she started her
Journey in marine design where she was project managing P&O cruises Australia. She has now been heading up the design department in Sydney for P&O for the last 4 years.
Petra is involved with every aspect of the design onboard the ship, from brief to concept, including branding and all interior design.

Liz Telford is Head of Marketing at TravelCard Travel Insurance, beginning in the role in August 2019. She is a member of the executive management team and responsible for setting up a new marketing function, developing the marketing strategy to grow TravelCard from being a new entrant in the Australian market to a major player. Telford has more than 10 years’ experience in both business to consumer and business to business roles and was previously Head of Brand at MoneySuperMarket, a FTSE250 technology company in the UK, where she led an ambitious brand relaunch to help MoneySuperMarket grow market share and reclaim its number two position in market.

Sophie is a brand marketer and strategist specialising in the travel, hospitality and food & beverage sectors. Her skill set lies in strategically rebranding restaurants and bars to deliver revenue growth, as well as sustaining and building hotel brand equity and awareness through above and below the line marketing campaigns. Over the past 10 years, she has spearheaded a number of organisational and innovative changes which resulted in lower marketing costs, increased brand quality and an increase in guest satisfaction.
