DIRECTV works with Compadre to develop new logo
DIRECTV worked with creative marketing agency Compadre to refresh its logo when it became a standalone video company earlier this year.
The new logo aims to celebrate DIRECTV's brand heritage, in addition to its commitment to providing best-in-class video experiences now and in the future. The rebrand also seeks to create a more cohesive DIRECTV brand across all viewing platforms, including its traditional satellite TV product, the app and the streaming service.
Compadre built a new family of logos representing the beam it (satellite) or stream it choices available to DIRECTV customers. The new logos, which express a brand primed for the market’s current demands, are balanced with a sleek, more streamlined design that builds on the brand heritage of DIRECTV.

With the DIRECTV STREAM product launch, DIRECTV had an opportunity to re-establish itself.
