BritCham Shanghai launches Best Emerging Talent Festival 2022

The Best Emerging Talent (BET) Festival seeks to celebrate emerging Chinese talent from the UK’s very best advertising, art and design courses, including from Loughborough University and The University of Edinburgh. Hosted by the Creative Industries & Marketing Committee of BritCham Shanghai, the festival has been organised as a half-day online webinar.

As well as increasing awareness of UK universities, the festival will offer Chinese graduates exposure to international agencies and corporations across China. Ticketholders will have exclusive access to 50 hot graduate portfolios on the mini-site, before a jury of industry experts, hailing from the likes of Design Bridge, Media Monks and Rockbund Art Museum, pick out their favourites.

The graduates, whose backgrounds will be from both BA and MA courses, will have studied courses ranging from fine art to graphic design and communication to digital design. Event speakers include esteemed individuals in the design industry, including The Orangeblowish’s creative lead, Lammy Xu, Media Monks’ executive creative director, Darren Crawforth, and JWDK’s senior motion designer, Austin Pietrobono.
