Transform magazine reveals shortlist for Young Contenders Europe 2022
The awards, celebrating for a fourth year the rising stars of the European branding industry, will take place on 30 March at the Transform Awards Europe. Shortlisted candidates were assessed for their strategic, creative and innovative prowess.
Transform magazine is delighted to reveal the shortlist for the 2022 Young Contenders Europe award. The award recognises candidates (30 or under as of 31 December 2021) who demonstrate the most promise as young professionals within the European branding industry.
Last year’s edition saw Marijn Roozemond, senior creative strategist at MassiveMusic Amsterdam, take the Strategic Young Contender of the Year award. Marijn was praised by colleagues for being someone who always “digs deep” to come up with the best approach for a project.
Meanwhile, Josie Evans – described as “the most talented, energetic and dedicated designers” one colleague had ever worked alongside – scooped up the Creative Young Contender of the year award. Both winners encapsulated the high standards required to take home this highly sought-after Young Contender prize.
This year’s judges considered candidates who were able to demonstrate key achievements, could show off outstanding endorsements from colleagues or clients, and could evidence a high-quality project they worked on.
The Young Contenders Europe 2022 shortlist:
Aifric Lennon, Account Director & Research Strategist, MassiveMusic
Lydia Fisher, Middleweight Designer, Baxter & Bailey
Sarah Mwathunga, Strategist, Design Bridge
Many congratulations to our fantastic shortlisted Young Contenders. Transform magazine believes the success of the candidates also reflects a brilliant attention to staff development by their employers. To our shortlisted Young Contenders, we will see you on 30 March in London!
