Green Saffron redesigns packaging

TT 06 April Green Saffron

Green Saffron, an independent brand that produce spice blends, sauces, rice, and chutneys worked with Australian agency Simon Pendry Creative to develop a bold and vibrant rebrand and packaging design.

The blend of the ‘g’ and the ‘s’ of Green Saffron gives a unique touch to the brand, allowing for shelf standout, while the vibrant colour combinations convey the taste and provenance of the spices. A collage-style made up of Victorian illustrations together with ingredient photography create an unexpected visual language for the brand that aims to bring a smile to the buyers.

The fun tone of voice, like ‘Mesmerizing Madras’, ‘Tantalising Tikka’, and ‘Cococrazy’ elevates the uniqueness of the Green Saffron blends and adds the personality to the overall identity.

A clear system of ‘spice temperature’ and ‘number of servings’ was developed on front of the pack, together with a simple three step recipe on the back of pack, reflects the brand’s passion of making good home cooked food available for everybody.
