Transform Awards Asia-Pacific showcases best in brand

Earlier this year, Air Tahiti Nui released a new brand, with Superunion, that saw the Polynesian favourite finally develop its own identity. Also this year, Sri Lankan supermarket Keells turned its lackluster warehouse-like shops into a branded experience on par with the biggest of global supermarket chains. Coca-Cola, too, launched a pop-up plaza in Beijing designed to build brand engagement on a local level.

These are but two of the exemplary brand projects on this year’s shortlist for the 2018 Transform Awards Asia-Pacific. They’re representative, though, of the brand strategy work that excels across the region. Some shortlisted brands are international names, making a global brand local. Some are local brands turning to a new maturity with their brands and some, further, are regional players expanding and building stronger brands to support that growth.

The Transform Awards Asia-Pacific has recognised excellence in rebranding and brand development since 2014 and is now celebrating its fifth anniversary in Asia-Pacific. This year’s winners will be honoured at the W Hotel in Hong Kong on 20 November.

“We’re pleased to be celebrating five years in Asia-Pacific, but even more so to be able to benchmark the best in rebranding and brand development. The Transform Awards has seen excellent brand strategy work across the region in past years, and this year’s shortlist is no exception. The winners of the Transform Awards truly push the brand industry forward in terms of creativity, excellence and innovation,” says publishing editor of Transform magazine, Brittany Golob.
