World Public Transport Day branded by Creative Concern

Founded by the International Association of Public Transport (UITP), the new global day was created to celebrate and spark conversations about the important role public transport plays in our lives. UK-based Creative Concern crafted an identity centred on the single idea that public transport connects people to work, to education, to opportunity and to each other. A spirograph motif, which was inspired by transport connections, sits at the heart of the design that was used to light up Niagara Falls, the CN Tower in Toronto and Dubai’s Burj Khalifa on the first World Public Transport Day (17 April, 2026).
