M — N Associates gives latest LÔCÔ Art Market factory-inspired identity
The cultural gathering in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam has established itself as a place for local creatives to showcase their work. Creative studio M — N Associates – itself based in the city – was called on to design the identity for the Summer 2026 fair.
Aiming to make this edition more than a standalone seasonal event, LÔCÔ Art Market launched a collaborative platform for the first time in its history. M — N Associates, a highly regarded local design agency, was responsible for crafting a branding campaign that could unite artists, designers, local brands and young creatives as one community.
To achieve this, the creative studio established the factory as an apt metaphor where LÔCÔ Art Market acted as the final stop in the creative production line. Replete with stacked cartons, packaging tape, signage and shipping labels, the lively identity serves to demonstrate how work finds its way from artists to audience.
The logo cleverly underlines the Summer 2026 theme, with tilting letterforms inspired by stacked carton boxes, representing the “organised chaos of human-run factories.” Elsewhere, monospaced typefaces Roboto Mono and VT323 were incorporated to add logic to the chaotic design.
The identity is extended through labels, stickers and industrial signage, allowing LÔCÔ Art Market’s latest look to flex across touchpoints, including entrance markers and pop-up notices.
