Ragged Edge fully rebrands job search platform

Otta, which helps candidates in their job search in the tech industry, worked with creative agency Ragged Edge on a full rebrand and launch campaign aiming to create an expressive brand that is the antithesis of the corporate job platform.

The Otta logo with its bespoke letter forms has been amplified, reflecting the amplification of their candidates. Amplification is indeed the heart of the rebrand, with the identity, launch campaign and product experience all inviting users to ‘amplify themselves.’

The icons feel futuristic but grounded in real world feelings and actions and are able to soften bold statements, give words impact and explain the benefits of Otta products. The Otta typeface, Fann Grotesque, and the warm colour palette of bright yellow, azure and bubble gum pink, adds warmth and spiritedness to their messaging.

“We’re leaving the world of transactional job boards behind and needed a brand to flip the category on its head. The team at Ragged Edge pushed us to create a brand that was distinctive and completely opposite to our corporate competitors.
