Frank Collective designs digital experience for chef Bobby Flay's new cat food brand

American chef and restaurant owner Bobby Flay worked with LA and NYC-based branding agency Frank Collective to design a cat food brand after Flay's pet, Nacho. Frank Collective helped Flay extend his existing brand into a digital experience inspired by Nacho’s mischievous spirit, and ‘Made by Nacho’ was born.

The website had to do some ‘educational heavy lifting,’ explaining the benefits of Bobby’s healthier cat food formula without losing the imaginative spirit that Nachos’ brand represents. Frank Collective used Nacho as a ‘culinary compass’ portraying him as Bobby’s best friend in the kitchen and showing that cats can also be gastronomical connoisseurs.

The web design aims to be clean and simple, with the framework of the site built so it can be expanded quickly, ready for product extensions and new launches in the near future. The website includes messaging that highlights the values that inspired each recipe, showing consumers and their pets that every product by the brand made with care.
