Sleek packaging crafted for Kast’s new card
The stablecoin-powered financial platform turned to Burgopak to design the packaging for its new physical card. The news follows on from Kast securing $80 million in Series A funding in March.
Global packaging designer and manufacturer Burgopak was tasked with creating a design for Kast that was specifically sophisticated but not flashy. The new card, which allows its customers to move or spend money anywhere in the world, needed to be wrapped in a design that acts as an extension of the brand.
Burgopak’s new business manager, Ben Feridooni, says, “Kast differentiates itself by making digital money feel familiar and usable for everyday spending. With this in mind, it was important for the packaging to be distinctive to elevate the Kast card.”
Crafted with a bespoke sliding opening mechanism, the packaging offers an intentional and high-end experience for users. The clever design system allows users to be simultaneously presented with the new card and onboarding information after pulling the tab.
