Ex-Resonance leaders found new sonic agency, Saliō
The new sonic branding agency, founded by Ralph Van Dijk and Ramesh Sathiah, aims to help companies make sound work at an organisational scale.
Van Dijk and Sathiah previously led Resonance Sonic Branding, an award-winning agency whose clientele included Australia Open and Canva. With Saliō, their new venture aims to make brands stand out through sound systems that work across every touchpoint.
“We don't start by creating assets. We start by understanding what you're doing now, where sound can actually help, and what each touchpoint needs,” says Sathiah. “Then we build it and integrate it into how your organisation actually works.”
With an understanding that different brands need different sonic approaches, Saliō fits the realities and needs of companies rather than working from a predetermined template.
The sonic branding agency created its Sonic Code framework, which defines strategic, emotional, aesthetic and behavioural rules for all sonic decisions. This allows teams to independently evaluate while creating a unified ‘Saliō’ voice.
