Prestigious awards ceremonies provide brands and agencies with a way to reward their teams and showcase outstanding work.

Transform Awards Europe, the leading awards programme for the celebration of campaigns and projects that serve to further and develop a brand, is now accepting entries for its 2016 awards.

Creative branding work is celebrated annually at the Transform Awards in London, but those in attendance come from all over Europe. The case studies awarded include rebranding, brand development and new brand projects, and a range of categories recognise every stage of the brand development process; from design and strategy, to implementation and communication. This year there are three new categories; ‘Best use of typography’, Best name’ and ‘Best place or nation brand’, an exciting new area that will allow for tourist offices, governmental organisations and regional authorities to enter the work they have done to change the way people think about a particular region or country.

Last year, Intu and Landor won in the ‘Best overall visual identity’ category, while Fitness First and the Clearing won ‘Best brand development project to reflect changed missions/values/positioning’. Speaking about the Clearing’s multiple wins in 2015, Jules Griffith, marketing director, says, "We've just won a major piece of work with a European travel brand directly from the Transform Awards. They looked at who’s recently won and who was shortlisted this year, and a week later we were off to Italy to pitch to them. I'm absolutely delighted by this. The awards are so important for raising the profile of brand strategy and positioning work."

Brand strategy is crucial for reputation management since a strong brand is a prepared one. It provides a company with a strong foundation should it need to overcome a challenge, sets it up for future growth and helps it to stand out among its competitors. The companies recognised at the Transform Awards Europe recognise the importance of a strong brand strategy and have helped to make it a reality within their business.

The awards will take place in March 2016 and will follow a conference that explores the complexities of top-level brand strategy and positioning, with an outstanding line-up of speakers from the industry.

The early bird deadline for entries will be on 4 November and the final deadline on 25 November 2015. For information about entering, or for anything else regarding the Transform Awards, please call the Transform events team on 020 7998 6263 or email Liz Foggitt on lfoggitt@transformmagazine.net
