Personalised cake delivery service rebrands
Treats and Bites, trading under the name of bakerdays, have rebranded with a newly transformed, customer-friendly website and a new colour palette. The rebrand aims to highlight the company’s ability to have a homemade, bespoke letterbox cake posted right to someone’s front door.
The first step involved research and development to determine what customers thought of the current brand and what they would like to see in a rebrand. The brand also focused on forming new partnerships, specifically with a website development company and worked closely with all those at bakerdays to encompass their design and vision for the rebrand. The aim for the new brand is to incorporate fun, playfulness and spread happiness, whether it be someone sending a cake to a loved one or someone receiving one.
“The happiness of our customers and the lucky recipients of a personalised gift is at the core of everything we do, and we wanted to ensure that our brand was representing this in a fun manner,” says Andrea Guzyova, founder of Treats and Bites.
Each colour within the new identity was chosen by members of the team to represent their thoughts and feelings towards the brand, the vision and the end goal. The overall colour palette is light, warm and uplifting to look at.
“As a family-run business, we want everyone we work with, from our suppliers to our customers, to feel like friends, not just another transaction. The rebrand has definitely injected more of our personality into the vision of who we are, something that will be perfectly clear to anyone who visits our new website or receives a gift in the post,” Guzyova adds.
