Facebook plays its cards right

London-based creative agency, Human After All, was appointed to create decks of business-to-business playing cards for Facebook to deal out its annual marketing statistics.

Each deck features 52 distinctive and interesting insights about Facebook and its users, presented in a fun way.    

The social media corporation approached the creative firm to develop quirky, visually appealing methods for presenting its 2015 statistics to agencies across EMEA. Each deck tells the story of specific seasonal developments, and each card features unique designs varying between text and illustration - everything from Star Wars to Jon Snow. The illustrations use a hint of colour to emphasise statistics, and the reverse-side of the card features a blue and white geometric design that incorporates Facebook’s logo.

The packaging of each deck is also personalised, by Human After All, to its receiving agency, and country-specific sets were produced for France, Italy and Spain, with alternative graphics and insights. Large posters of the cards were also sent to clients or used for display at Facebook HQ.       

Over a thousand decks of playing cards were dealt out across key agencies targeted by Facebook.
