Inaugural European Wayfinding Awards now open for entries
Following the overwhelming success of the ‘Best Wayfinding or Signage’ category at the Transform Awards Europe, Transform is delighted to announce the inception of the European Wayfinding Awards. The programme will recognise outstanding work from agencies, studios and in-house teams who create intuitive, inclusive and inspiring navigation systems.
Wayfinding has become an incredibly important part of brand design in Europe. To recognise the leaps and bounds made in the field, Transform has officially launched the European Wayfinding Awards for 2026. Any organisation can enter the awards, providing the strategy or execution was developed, launched or carried out between January 2025 and June 2026.
Entrants will be able to submit their projects into a wide variety of categories including ‘Sector,’ ‘Craft’ and ‘Strategy,’ testing themselves across a number of disciplines including typography, sustainability and integration.
The European Wayfinding Awards will be judged by an esteemed panel of experts in the branding, marketing, advertising and corporate communications field. They will create a shortlist which recognises the agencies and businesses which excelled in their wayfinding work, before ultimately deciding who will be taking home Bronze, Silver and Gold in their respective categories.
Jack Cousins, editor of Transform magazine, says, “The European Wayfinding Awards is an exciting expression of how seriously wayfinding and navigational design is taken on the continent. In recent years, I have seen fantastic wayfinding projects entered into the Transform Awards Europe, so I am delighted that there is now an awards programme dedicated specifically to this crucially important area of design.”
