Cutrin returns to Nordic roots with rebrand

Cutrin, a Nordic hair care brand, which was recently rebranded by global brand design agency JDO. Cutrin’s products celebrate Nordic women and uses the northern environment as inspirational icon for its branding.

JDO brought back a unique aesthetic to the brand, filling it with confidence and a Nordic feel in a simple-minded and sophisticated way. The goal for JDO was to create a high quality brand in a minimalistic Scandinavian way.

Cutrin will be able to evolve and expand globally with this redesign, while moving away from its previous brand, which didn’t reflect the confidence and luxury it wishes to be recognised for. The previous product packaging was basic and consistent, whereas the rebrand of Cutrin has a smoother layout with personality and individual style. With this new visual identity, the company has developed into a modern brand on the global market.
