Employer Brand Management conference features varied, exciting programme for December event
The Employer Brand Management conference has become the must-attend event of the year for communications professionals working in HR, employer brand management, talent attraction and retention. The conference has, for the past four years, set the agenda in the conversation around employee attraction, engagement and retention.
This year, the Employer Brand Management conference will similarly be prompt debate, discussion and dialogue about a company’s relationship with one of its most valuable stakeholder groups – its employees.
Brittany Golob, publishing editor of Transform magazine, says, “The Employer Brand Management conference is really the must-attend event for HR, internal comms and recruitment and retention professionals. This year’s conference is poised to be the best yet, with the addition of roundtable discussions and a varied programme that brings together case studies with topical debate.”
The conference, held at the Brewery in the city of London, will feature three case studies of excellent management of the employer brand, as determined by the judges at the 2018 Employer Brand Management Awards. The first features tax advisory firm Forrest Brown discussing its genre-defying employer brand strategy. Following that Teach First will explore its emotive approach to recruitment while Care UK discusses the use of digital to achieve greater impact.
A new addition to the programme will include roundtable discussions based on various challenges and topics in employer brand management. The topics to be discussed include:
- Employer branding after a merger or acquisition
- Diversity, inclusion and the employer brand
- Alignment of the employer brand
- Getting senior management buy-in
- Gen Z versus Millennials
- Alumni programmes
- Innovation in employer branding
- Developing a new employer brand strategy
The conference will also include a discussion on the diversity and inclusion brand as well as an examination of the employer brand after a merger or acquisition.
In the afternoon of the day-long conference, there will be the opportunity for delegates to attend roundtable discussions with experts in employer brand management to discuss the issues most challenging their businesses. This will help delegates learn from each other as well as gain valuable expertise from experienced strategy developers.
Finally, the day will conclude with a session on leadership and the employer brand featuring two CEOs. Andy Wood, CEO of Adnams Brewery will join Andrew Denton, CEO of Alfa Systems in the discussion.
