After a massive overhaul of its on-screen identities, sub-brands, corporate brand and most popular channel, ITV implemented its rebrand overnight last year. Not only were viewers awed by the new, changeable idents, but ITV went on to win five Transform Awards, including last year’s Grand Prix.

The Transform Awards Europe has been recognising excellence in rebranding, brand development, repositioning and brand transformation for the past six years. This year, entries are being accepted to the European programme until 2 December. For a £100 discount, enter before 4 November.

New categories this year include: ‘Best brand experience,’ ‘Best use of packaging’ and ‘Best wayfinding or signage.’

The awards are unique in that they honour excellence in rebrand strategy. Those that excel are entries that exhibit a clear understanding of the organisation’s objectives, stakeholders and outcomes.

Mark Cross, 2014 judge and head of brand for the Donkey Sanctuary, a prior winner, says, “Judging the Transform Awards was a genuine privilege for me; as well as being a superb vantage point from which to admire and access the wealth of talent in our creative industry. The thorough and robust application and sift process ensures that the Awards are trustworthy, relevant and respected.”

Last years winners include not only ITV, but Eurostar – which won four awards for its outstanding use of language and personality in rebranding – the Glasgow City Marketing Bureau, the English National Ballet, the London Stock Exchange Group and tool and industrial company Stanley.

Rufus Radcliffe, group marketing director at ITV, says, “ITV was lucky enough to have a fantastic night at the 2014 Transform Awards, and we are excited about the 2015 awards programme.”

Liz Foggitt, events and publishing manager at Cravenhill Publishing, said: “This past year, we’ve been really pleased with the way the Transform Awards has expanded and found a home on new continents. We hope to bring some of that excitement and drive back to where it all began for the 2015 Transform Awards Europe.”

The successful programme has also been launched in the Middle East and Asia Pacific regions this year. Winners of the Europe awards will be announced at a celebratory gala dinner in the spring of 2015. To enter your project into Transform Awards Europe, click here.
